Dear Parents/Carers,
The Department for Education (DfE) has reduced the minimum number of sessions schools are required to meet in the academic year 2021/22 to enable everyone to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen.
Suffolk County Council recommended that this additional bank holiday be taken on Friday 18 February 2022.
Therefore, we are confirming the information sent out in November 's 'Dates and Events Calendar' that Kingsfleet will be closed on Friday 18th February.
As previously communicated, the following week is half-term and the children will return to school on Monday 28th February.
